"I had a really dumb idea. What if I turned my Fatter Cat Cushion into a controller? Like if I sit on it somehow it activates my mount in FFXIV" - Louis.

​It took a couple of days but we figured it out. If you really want to you can turn the act of sitting to activate your fat cat mount. Really simple build and here's a quick rundown on how you do it!

How To Set Up!

 Setting up the Arduino Hardware
  1. Connect your Touch sensor to the Arduino Micro.
    1. Connect the Touch Sensor's VCC is connected to the 5V slot on the Arduino
    2. Connect the SIG to the Digital 4 slot
    3. Connect the GND to the GND on the Arduino

  2. Upload the Arduino Script into your Arduino
    1. Visit the Github Page to download the program
    2. Upload it to your Arduino

  3. Set up your FFXIV for the Arduino
    1. Put your Fatter Cat Mount (or any mount) on the Numpad 7 slot on your Hotbar
    2. Place the Arduino and touch sensor on where you would sit on the Fat Cat 
      1. I decided to hide it underneath some fabric so I didn't have to secure it by sewing into the Fat Cat Cushion

  4.  Sit & Enjoy!

Plans for a Newer Version?

None at the moment. You can technically add more to it and turn it into an actual controller (joysticks and buttons for actual FFXIV gameplay). However for a quick fun idea we think it turned out great. If you have and ideas or questions hit up Louis on :
